Eyes do deceive. At a first glance, it's just a cute little angel girl holding a winged teddy bear... But why are the lilies bleeding? Is she evil? Or is she trapped in some sort of sad fate (hence the expression)? Perhaps this isn't as harmless as it might first appear.
But wait. What does it truly mean that eyes deceive? Is there some sort of happiness... some kind of hope or promise hidden behind the ominous imagery?
As usual, I have no idea. I do like how this one came out, though. My favorite part is the wings -- they don't look like they're made out of natural feathers, but they look just as soft. It makes me want to touch them.
I thought about making blood flow out of the lily pit thingie, but decided against it. It would've looked too Silent Hill-like.
